Therapist Eligibility
We stand behind the following:
Each therapist must submit complete bio/CV, recommendation from three colleagues, a RIISE profile detailing their professional achievements, and commitment to provide at least four hours of access time for our members and independent schools.
Each therapist/counselor must be interviewed by one of RIISE’s counseling initiative committee members for opportunity to facilitate workshops with voice and presentation screening.
Each therapist/counselor commits to abide by RIISE’s referral guidelines for family and school members.
The Selection Process:
We invest a lot of time interviewing potential therapists/counselors to be sure they “fit” into the RIISE culture. We look for experts who will provide sensitive, motivating, often boundary-breaking, but always ethical and tested (by our committee) information to the members of RIISE.
Here are the three criteria that we use to make our selection:
Criteria One:
Our therapists/counselors must be well-known in their field, credentialed, and have a proven track record of impact with other persons with whom they have worked.
Criteria Two:
RIISE workshop therapists/counselors have to “hold” the audience, deliver useful information, and provide a compelling learning experience for our members.
Criteria Three:
Our therapists/counselors have to support RIISE mission to provide high-quality, ethical, and sensitive workshops to our member families.
If you wish to serve as a therapist/counselor, or recommend one to us, you may contact our team at RIISE:
